The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society is seeking volunteers to help local blood cancer patients!
Our friends at the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society need help with one of their most fun annual campaigns, National Pancake Day! This is a great way for people who want to help make a difference in the lives of others give back to the community! They’re looking for volunteers to help support LLS at various IHOP locations across the DC metro area on March 7th from 7 AM – 10 PM (This is on the same day as Volunteer Orientation, please keep this in mind while signing up for shifts). It’s easy and fun!
On National Pancake Day, Tuesday March 7th, IHOP will serve customers a free stack of pancakes and in lieu of payment they ask customers to donate to LLS. This year there are 41 IHOP locations in the National Capital Area supporting LLS. With IHOP’s help, pancakes are helping cure cancer!
You’ll get to eat free pancakes, meet new people, and support a great cause with a lot of impact! During your volunteer shift you’ll chat with customers about the impact we have on local families who have been impacted by blood cancer.
